Tara is a character in Lake Placid 3.She goes to college with Ellie, Charlie, Brett and Aaron. She goes with Aaron, Charlie and Ellie on a trip to Black Lake. Ellie wants to get away from Brett for a few days. Tara goes swimming with Ellie and Aaron. Charlie is eaten by a crocodile. Ellie and Aaron go off to look for him while Tara lays on the beach. She hears rustling and thinks it is Charlie. She jumps up and flashes the woods until she sees a crocodile coming after her. She starts to run but is taken down by the croc and dragged away. Half of her body is later found by Brett and Reba.
